Machupicchu by Car

One of the options to reach the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, is to take the car route to the town of Santa Maria and cross to Aguas Calientes. It is a new tour in which we go on the route that goes to the city of Quillabamba, after a trip of approximately seven hours, we take rest in Aguas Calientes, to recover and prepare all the energies and meet the next day one of the seven wonders of the modern world, as is Machupicchu.

The return is by tourist train directly to Cusco. In this tour we can enjoy the inter-Andean landscapes that this particular area offers, the changes of altitudinal floors, we reach the highest point of the Abra de Malaga to descend to the tropical part of the Cusco region and enter the Urubamba Valley. DAY 01 : TRIP CUSCO-HYDROELECTRIC

  • We started picking at your hotel around 05:00 a.m.
  • Travel by bus from Cusco to Hydro-Electric (duration 05 hours).
  • On the route observe nature of jungle eyebrow coming to hydroelectric, start walking to the village of Aguas Calientes (02 hours).
  • Upon arrival to the village, they will be accommodated in the designated hotel.
  • Dinner in the tourist restaurant.

DAY 02 : VISIT TO MACHUPICCHU-RETURN TO CUSCO

  • 05:30 a.m. You must take the bus to the sanctuary of Machupicchu.
  • Entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu.
  • Guided tour for 02 hours.
  • Approximately 02 hours free time.
  • Again, descent by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • Start of hike to the starting point of hydroelectric.
  • Arriving our mobile will be waiting for return to Cusco.
  • 19:00 arrival in Cusco.
